Snowing here

Not too much snow...   my courtyard garden is sleeping

sidewalks and roadways are clear; it hasn't been cold enough to cover everything

here is the view from my fourth floor bedroom window.
heavy traffic at the birdfeeders on my windowsills, though I can't get close enough to photograph them.

In the meantime, I have been baking lots of cookies.  Fifteen different kinds, and at least seventeen batches.  I made the dough and froze it  gradually over the last six weeks.  Then I began to bake about two weeks ago.
The batches of 2019 :
Molasses Sugar Cookies
Toll House Cookies
Peanut Butter Blossoms
Magic Cookie Bars
Date Walnut Cookies
Sugar Cookies
Snickerdoodles
Raspberry Thumbprint Cookies
Russian Teacakes
Apricot-Almond Chews
Amaretti Morbidi
Oatmeal Gems
Green Spritz Cookies
Cinnamon Pecan Toffee Cookies
Rice Krispie Treats  ( still to do)

So the freezer is packed with tins of cookies:

We'll start making plates of these and giving them out to:

Villa Sisters           Caritas Community                    Charlene                Carla

Nurses Station on 3 G                Nurses Station on 3C       Seton Shrine Employees

George and Robin Brenton                  Associates on Ground Floor of G Wing

Physical Therapy Dept.              Grounds Dept.                 Dietary (Kitchen)

Power Plant Dept.                  Maintenance Dept.               Transportation Dept.

Those cookies disappear pretty quickly!

This is so much more life-giving to me than stressing about Donald Trump and the danger to our country.
